Typhoon Exploration Inc. is a Canadian based mineral exploration company established in 2003, with a diversified portfolio of properties. To increase the value of its assets, the company’s strategy is to use modern technology for exploration with a commitment to minimize its impact on the environment. It intends to continue its mission of exploration and development independently or in partnership.

The properties of Typhoon Exploration were selected based on their very favorable geological settings, close to mining camps with all facilities necessary for their development. They are all located in Quebec.

The Fayolle Project (50%-owned by Typhoon Exploration Inc. / 50%-owned by Hecla Quebec Inc.) is the company’s most advanced exploration project and confirms an important potential for the development of gold resources.

It is located in the heart of Abitibi (Canada), in one of the world’s most prolific gold mining camps. The Fayolle Deposit to date contains 188,000 ounces of gold in the indicated category (43-101 report dated September 2012 and PEA published in 2013) and is near the mining camps of Rouyn-Noranda, Val d’Or and Malartic.

The work carried out by the MNRF and a compilation completed by Typhoon Exploration Inc. has identified a broad corridor with great potential located directly on the Fayolle Property as well as in its immediate environment. This corridor shows a potential extension of the Fayolle Deposit mineralization over more than 3 km east-west by about 1 km north-south, while remaining open at depth. It is in this favourable sector that are located four other properties in which Typhoon Exploration has significant interests, these properties are Aiguebelle-Goldfields (51% Typhoon Exploration Inc. / 49% Agnico Eagle Mines Limited), Destorbelle (50% Typhoon Exploration Inc. / 50% Axe Exploration Inc.) as well as the Ranger (100% Typhoon Exploration Inc.) and Sommet (100% Typhoon Exploration Inc.) properties.

Furthermore, it owns Monexco (100% Typhoon Exploration Inc.), a property with a diversified potential (gold and base metals), located in the Chibougamau mining camp and in the heart of the Plan Nord territory.

The Company adopted a sustainable development policy and is committed to ensuring that effective corporate social responsibility principles are embedded in Typhoon’s governance practices by integrating safety, health, environmental, social, community and economic practices.

“This positive commitment to the community and the future of the local economy is very significant for the generations of today and tomorrow ” said David McDonald, President and Chief Executive Officer of Typhoon Exploration Inc.

Typhoon Exploration reseeded several hectares of ground and reforested thousands of first grade trees on the exploration sites of its Fayolle and Aiguebelle-Goldfields properties, as well as on the Destorbelle Property with the collaboration of its partner Axe Exploration Inc.

The company was awarded the 2010 “Entrepreneur of the Year” and “E3 Plus (Environmental Excellence in Exploration)” by the Quebec Mineral Exploration Association (AEMQ).

The shares of Typhoon are listed on the TSX and trade under the symbol TYP. It should be noted that the company has only 39,077,849 shares outstanding.
